Our favourite convicted felon, Lori Carrington, AKA L Anne Carrington AKA Lori Dennick AKA 70+ pseudonyms, is at it again. She's promoting her awful books as widely as possible, whilst using free services to do it. Guess Social Security doesn't cover real publicity budgets. Considering Lori claimed to be a professional publicist for quite some time, it's amazing that she never actually learnt anything from her past lies and picked up some PR skills.
She's still issuing fake press releases, for one thing.
Wrestling Romance Authors Prepare for 2012 Convention Panel Appearance
American writer L. Anne Carrington joins Scottish author Kristal McKerrington to aim toward giving wrestling a whole new image.
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PRLog (Press Release) – Mar 16, 2011 – L. Anne Carrington, Amazon Kindle Top 100 bestselling author of the wrestling-themed romance novel The Cruiserweight, is pairing with Scottish author Kristal McKerrington in co-hosting a discussion panel on ground breaking work between wrestling, MMA (mixed martial arts) and romance as part of the 2012 Romantic Times Book Lovers Convention.
"This genre already saw huge success with Lori Fosters, who has had four best selling books," Ms. McKerrington said. "L. Anne Carrington has a good set of numbers for her adult wrestling novel and my own young adult series is going better than expected. These alone are why a panel would be a success. It would show these two forms of entertainment along with the romance world how possible this bridge is for the future."
"As part of planning the Romantic Times appearance," said Ms. Carrington,"we are also seeking sponsors from everyone from romance writers and publishers to the wrestling and MMA industires. I think panels representing sports-based romance genres at conventions would open doors for involved writers, as they are authors, not “dirt sheet” or general sports writers. This would attract a new group of readers to events, help boost book sales, and draw attention from both the yet-untapped MMA and wrestling worlds if the concept of sports and romance were discussed more often."
"Nothing is yet guaranteed as far as getting a panel spot is concerned, and we haven't filled out the prerequisite forms as of this date, but I think our chances look good, especially if enough interest is expressed among readers and fans."
In addition to the authors discussing many platforms, professional wrestlers and MMA fighters from from both independent and major federations are welcome to give feedback about how such books on the market affect them and their careers.
Additional information about the current Romantic Times Book Lovers Convention, being held April 6-10, 2011 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Resort, can be found on their web site, http://www.rtconvention.com.

Oh look, Lori's found a new pigeon friend! I wonder if Kristal McKerrington (because we GWOPC and it turns out even though it sounds like a L Ard sockpuppet, she's real!) has ever Googled her BFF? She might like to catch up on her Lori reading!
Anyway, Lori's now claiming to be attending a convention for romance books, in 2012. She claims it's being held April 6-10, 2011 at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel and Resort. That's in Los Angeles.
Funny thing is, according to the Romance Times own website, the show is going to be in Chicago!

Lori Dennick, aka Lori Carrington, tell lies? Well, won't be the first time! I wonder if she needs to tell her parole officer she's leaving the state? I wonder if her Rascal will roll that far?
Lori's been tweaking her profile all over the place. She loves rewriting fiction, after all.

Yes, Lori is now writing for the Examiner. A website where frauen can fart anything they like out on a page and get paid a fraction of a cent per view. The people who read the Examiner tend to think Fox News is true.
In this latest profile, she claims to be a relative of obscure film star Rubye De Remer. Who, I hear you ask?
According to Wikipedia:
Rubye De Remer (January 9, 1892, Denver, Colorado - March 18, 1984, Beverly Hills, California) was an American dancer and actress in silent films.
Born Ruby Burkhardt, she began her stage career with the Midnight Frolic, a Florenz Ziegfeld show, in New York City.
And she got married!
On April 7, 1924, De Remer wed Scranton, Pennsylvania, coal and iron magnate Benjamin Throop 2nd (1889–1935) in Paris, France. She was his second wife. Her husband had reportedly spent the entire family fortune by the time of this death.
De Remer's home in the Hollywood hills was called Sunkist. Its location was so high above the movie colony that it was said the clouds park right in her front yard.
Is L Ard claiming Mr Throop is her relative? Wouldn't it be more logical for L Ard to claim him than her; he sounds like he lead an interesting life.
No, sadly she isn't. Lori is currently snowing the users on a website called Findadeath, and this is what she told them:
There was a silent film star who was married to one of my mother's ancestors in the early 1900's. The marriage isn't mention on Wikipedia, but her stage name was the last name of her first husband (my mother's ancestor), Allen de Remer.
Wikipedia doesn't mention Alan/Allen, but upon further research on Rubye confirmed she is the same person mentioned on my uncle's family tree page.
IT'S a long way from Denver, Colo., to the Ziegfeld Follies, and then finally to California in the midst of filmdom. But that's just the journey that Rubye de Remer took.
She was born in Denver and went to school there. But the young lady determined at an early age upon a stage career. She started in the Follies when she first came to New York. Her beauty and coloring lent itself to the stage and she soon graduated to the Midnite Frolic. From there she joined Weber and Fields as prima donna of that show.
In 1917 when Rex Beach decided to make a special feature from his novel, "The Auction Block," he took Miss de Remer from a Broadway show and cast her as the leading lady. It was a role heavy with dramatic action and Miss de Remer made a success of it, thereby establishing herself and winning recognition in the ranks of filmland.
Many of Miss de Remer's first films were made in the East, but after her name had become known from Coast to Coast as not only one of the screen's most beautiful but most capable leading women, producers sent East for her services and brought her to California where pictures thrive. But she wants to remain in New York the greater part of her time in order to be near her first love, the stage.
Her latest production was made for Hodkinson under the title of "The Unconquered Woman." At present she is with the Famous Players-Lasky organization at their Long Island studio, New York.
Miss de Remer's hobbies are German police dogs and traveling. She spends most of her time when off-stage or screen in traveling and she is a frequent visitor at the famous Southern resorts. She has been to Europe several times as well as "seeing America first."
She has gold blonde hair and blue eyes with a fair skin to match. She stands five feet, four inches tall and weighs 118 pounds.
I do not see anything about marriage on that.
However, if she is a descendant of Alan DeRemer, then she's NOT related in any way to Rubye, who was Alan's wife for a brief period of time and had no kids with him.
Lori's been sharing more of her supposed past on the Findadeath site.
My dad was a chubby chaser. My mother was 140 pounds when they got married back in 1946, and of course, just got plumper as the kids came along. Think he complained? Not in the least! He didn't even mind his three girls being chubettes. Guess that was proof he was feeding all of us well.
At our house, it was because Dad hung his pants on the bed post.
My mother got married at 20 (in 1946, after knowing my father only two weeks - and stood married until he died in 1992) and had my oldest brother in December 1947 when she was 21. I was born about six weeks before my mother's thirty-sixth birthday. Between six live births and four miscarriages (the last miscarriage was in 1969), she was prego ten times before age 45!
Even back when I was in high school and morals were starting to get a bit more "relaxed," as it were, even then if a girl was popping out kids before she had her diploma, she was all but considered the class slut.
How things have changed...
A long way from back in the day from if a teen got pregnant, they were either kicked out of the house or sent to a home for unwed mothers and the child quietly given up for adoption. Now it's almost a fashion accessory for kids under 18 to have a child out of wedlock when they're still kids themselves. Disgraceful...
Funny how she's so judgmental about young mothers, when she spent an awful lot of time in her past writing incest and rape porn fiction.
Remember how she pretended to be a lawyer in the past (at least twice)? Well her memory isn't working as well as it used to:
Good grief, I think the majority of us hags could do a far better job of cross-examining, and we don't have fancy law degrees (at least I don't think so).
Isn't she fun?
Finally, I think we should all chip in and book a L Ard appearance.

Yes, that's right, she's making herself available to read her dreadful book out loud in that old lady voice she has (and we've heard it, she keeps turning up for tiny blog radio shows to pimp her prose). Want to donate towards the cause? We'll need at least ten bucks! She's so swanky, she doesn't go cheaply, as we recall from her escort rate card!
